If you visit Punggol, you would realize that a lot of flat
dwellers actually hang their laundry at their living room windows.
Why? Because the architects stupidly placed the laundry-drying
areas in the shade while making the living rooms bear the full
brunt of the afternoon sun.
They seem to be skimping on the materials and the maintenance as
well. I saw quite a few buildings there that already had peeling
paint..... and that estate is only, like, five years old?
Shucks man.... my HDB block is already more than 30 years old,
and it is so much-better maintained.....
About 6 years ago when the flats at Sembawang were still relatively
new, my aunt asked me why am I paying a ridiculas 318k for a 4 room
in Simei when I can get a Sembawang 5 room flat for
slightly over 200k
I told her location and have you seen the inside of the flats???
It's stupid.
I don't know why they have hexagon shaped rooms...kns so many
bloody corners in the house
